Reiki: What it is and why it is the best way to reduce stress

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) translated means universal life force energy and it is a natural healing technique. This life force energy flows through the energy centres (chakras) in our body and circulates around the auric field. During a Reiki treatment, the energy moves through the Reiki practitioner before being channelled through to the recipient. This activates the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restores physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

During a Reiki treatment, expect to feel extremely relaxed and you may feel a flow of warm energy and glowing radiance going through and around you. This is the beautiful Reiki energy treating you holistically and restoring a sense of balance to your mind and emotions.
